Brilliant observations, a little sad (Stork Down!) And sociologically funny (Mop Men...skills passed down from fathers to sons).

Stork Down! Wish I had thought of that line. :-) Thanks so much, Pete.

Katie should have held out for some red vines, too 😉 - what a fun read and how amazing to go see that game! And I love the shirt in French! 💜💜💜 Always enjoy what you write Mariah!

Thank you so much, Cathy. Funny about Katie. 😂 Shirts were printed in French too because the company started right before the Paris Olympics, and indeed the shirts seemed to be popular in Paris too this summer. Fun fact.

Glad to hear only your ego was hurt when you fell, seems to be a far more frequent occurrence for me also 😂

I really enjoyed this story. So much humor, so much energy. I was right there with you. Also, the change in appreciation for women's sports that you describe is truly encouraging. Oh, and like Katherine, my husband would have had me with the promise of popcorn!

Come for the popcorn 🍿 stay for the amazing play! And you bet, encouraging indeed. Thanks so much, Judy.

I love this. We are season tix holders for women’s basketball in Auburn Alabama

Absolutely. We had planned on seeing Caitlyn in Atlanta but tickets sold out at the bigger Hawks arena too. I got to see her nemesis Angel Reese play in Auburn last 2 years. The women’s game has really come on but Auburn has been good since the 90’s. DeWanna Bonner played there

Cool. So energizing to watch the games - and the crowds. Bonner is impressive.

I got to see her jersey retired next to Charles Barkleys this past year. Great time to see so many years of hard work beginning to pay off. How many years since Billy Jean started the Virginia Slims and proved there was a market for women’s sports.
